Goal: Seniors remain living independently and with a high quality of life.
Older adults living in communities served by Hope Through Housing (Hope) do not always have the resources to live independently. Many have lost the ability to perform two or more Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, mobility, or meal preparation.
To prevent premature nursing home admission, Hope provides interventions that reduce the risk of losing the ability to perform ADLs and allow residents to do more than age in place: our residents age in community.
Our Senior Wellness programming is regionally organized by professional senior service coordinators. Service Coordinators address a variety of resident needs by bringing educational opportunities to their communities, linking residents to already existing programs and services, and providing opportunities for residents to remain physically and intellectually active.
